Looking back:
In 2015, as well as knitting and crocheting together, the group led worship, and presented Maia and Kathy with
shawls to send them on their way to the United Church’s General Council meeting in Newfoundland. Maia and her shawl traveled across Canada as part of a youth pilgrimage discovering what they called the “living ministry of Christ” as they met groups of Christians who are making a difference in communities throughout the country. This group arrived in Newfoundland in time to participate in the 42nd General Council meeting. Kathy, have prepared by reading reams of documents, joined Maia in Cornerbrook.
