Nov 22nd ~ Roots of Conflict with Keith Simmonds
Keith Simmonds spent two months in Bethlehem in early 2020 as a human rights observer for the World Council of Churches. A United Church of Canada Minister, well versed in the history, past, and present of the Occupation of Palestine, will be leading a four-part series (Wednesdays at 5 p.m.) beginning November 1st that will consider history, trauma, anti-Semitism, Colonialism, the politics of the Empire, and the present-day plight of ordinary citizens of Palestine and Israel.
We will be digging deep within the roots of conflicts between Israel and Palestine!
Study sessions in November will be happening on: Nov 1, Nov 8, Nov 15, and Nov 22. These sessions will be on ZOOM ONLY. Please use the above link.
