Jan 8th ~ Sunday Worship
For the Season of Epiphany we will be considering daily spiritual practices which can get us through the darkest months of the year as well as through dark periods in our lives. How can God’s light better shine in our own lives? This Sunday we consider the passage from Isaiah which says, “Arise, shine, for your light has come.” How can just getting out of bed in the morning be a spiritual practice?
As we are focusing on light this season, there will be a table with candles for you to light during the service. You might wish to light a candle to celebrate something good in life, or you might light a candle in memory of someone, or perhaps you would like God to shine some light into a situation in your life. Please feel free at any time before, during, or after worship to light a candle. If you are at home, you might wish to light a candle.
We will also be hearing from Nina Johnson and Marcia Julian on behalf of Council Circle who will be presenting the congregation with the Vision Report. (see more about that below.)
