On June 9th, Carole Hutchings and Dr. Caveney attended the annual meeting of the Pacific Mountain Region of the United Church.  Of note during the meeting, the Region became an Affirming Region.   Just as Kamloops United Church is an Affirming Congregation, meaning that everyone is welcome as members and as leaders, so is true with all of the actions of the Region.  Individual congregations still have the option to choose whether to become Affirming.
