This Sunday is known as “Ascension Sunday” in the Christian Calendar. It marks the occasion when, after 40 days on earth after his resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven to be with God. (see notes below). On this Sunday it is customary for us to consider how we are living our lives on this planet in the aftermath of Jesus being among us. Dr. Caveney’s sermon is entitled, “Waiting for God.” KUC Music Director Tomas Bijok will be leading the music for this service.
