WHAT WE DO AND WHY WE DO IT.

Kamloops United Church is home to many groups who share our beautiful church. When this occurs we call it “Recovery on Space” because it is so much more than just “rent”. The office staff carefully considers how we act as a “Centre for Community & Spiritual Discovery” when inviting a new group to use church space. This has led to wonderful relationships with groups that range from support groups, music rehearsals, education for children, cooking classes and many more. Through the pandemic the staff have looked for creative ways to share our space, gather some recovery on space and support community groups in Kamloops. To that end monthly space has been an important part. This is done with careful consideration to the needs of the group and the current, historical and future needs of Kamloops United Church ministry groups. So here is the ‘ad’ to share with people you know in the community who may be in need.
