SD73 DPAC* is hosting another free online workshop for parents and caregivers! *DPAC stands for District Parent Advisory Council. We are the official parent voice for School District 73 (Kamloops/Thompson).

Who is it for:
This workshop is designed for supportive adults including parents, caregivers, teachers, and anyone who interacts with 2SLGBTQIA+ kids and youth.
What is this workshop about?
This workshop is a primer on gender identity and expression, sex assigned at birth and different kinds of attraction. Having this kind of knowledge-base goes along way towards being a supportive and trusted adult for the amazing 2SLGBTQIA+ kids and teens in your life.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of:
* Gender identity and expression
* Sex assigned at birth
* Sexual and emotional attraction
* What each letter in 2SLGBTQIA (and more!) represents
* How these concepts work in your own life (self-reflection is important y’all!)
