Kamloops United Church will be applying for Summer Youth Employment Funding. We have identified several jobs, but we are also open to proposals.

Here are the parameters:

– Have an idea for a project with full-time hours to be completed in a min. of 8 weeks (max 12 weeks) in summer 2022
– Be a job or project for youth(s) between 15-30 years old.
– Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status.
Projects that are related to: Affirm (LGBT), Reconciliation, Music, Social justice, Climate change, or Youth ministry will be given a high priority.

KUC will provide supervision and support to successful candidates. This is a chance to fly; if you can dream it, give us a call and we will see if we can make it happen.

The deadline for ideas is January 17th. This is not much time, so if you have an idea, call Florence at 250-372-3020 and she will help to flesh it out.
