Thurs. Dec. 9 PIT Stop Gift Drop-off
“Without question 2021 continues to be a challenging year for many of us in the central interior. Just when we thought we might be getting some breathing space through the vaccination process, Mother Nature throws a huge curveball affecting thousands of lives. It’s hard to imagine what the upcoming Christmas season will be like for many who have had their spirits dampened, but our community’s perseverance and compassion will shine through.
PIT Stop is so very happy that we will once again be doing our huge Christmas Dinner for our community on Dec 12, expecting over 300 guests. As always, the Rotary Daybreak club will be preparing and serving a pretty exceptional turkey & trimmings dinner and we will again make sure that every one of our guests receives a very stuffed gift bag. If you’re able to help us with this it would be much appreciated but we certainly recognize that everyone is getting stretched thin. It seems that most years the two items that we do fall a bit short on are long underwear and gloves but this year we had a budget and we have already purchased most of those so if there are any other items as per the following list that you might be able to bring our way, we would be grateful. It would be nice to have everything at the church by Dec 9 so that we have time to prepare the bags.
Thank you so very much everyone. Rick W.”
