“This afternoon I led a worship service at Overlander Care Centre, which is run by Interior Health. This centre has had COVID outbreaks. It has been extremely rough on the staff. We honoured those from the facility who had died since the pandemic began. This was the first religious gathering of any sort allowed since March 2020. Clergy have not been permitted to visit. There were so many from the centre wishing to attend that we had to do the service twice to comply with capacity restrictions. I am thankful for these women on staff, one of whom is the Coordinator of Volunteers, the other from the Recreation Group, who have done an amazing job during this time.”
