As we approach the Thanksgiving season we want to celebrate some volunteers who have stepped back from faithful service to Kamloops United Church recently. Each of these people has been sent a thank you and will be celebrated in Worship at the Thanksgiving Worship service on October 10th.

Bonnie Pyper was the KUC Receptionist coordinator for many years. Each month she would make sure that the office had time for lunch or meetings by making sure that there was a receptionist on duty. There was no need for this during COVD so we have not had receptionists for a while. Going forward we would love to have them again when it’s appropriate. Bonnie is willing to help but is stepping back from leading the charge. We love all our receptionists and hope to have you back again soon. Sue Sewell has been keeper of the KUC congregational list for a very long time. Sue quietly and efficiently used our previous database system to keep our records updated. The new database system we are using is quite agile. Michael can input updates on his phone in a heartbeat (no memory required) so the job that Sue was doing before is no longer needed. Sue on the other hand we need very much. Thank you Sue for the work you did keeping our info together!!  (Sue is pictured on the right.)
