Thank you to the KUC Pastoral Care Team and the KUC Choir for collecting toys for the children of Monte Lake.
We asked Rachel, a member of KUC and the teacher in the one room school there, how Kamloops United Church could help that community which was affected by White Rock Lake fire.  Many of her students’ families had lost their homes.  She suggested that we collect brand new toys for her students.  They were in for a great surprise when they returned to school!
