We are invited to come out to Camp Grafton on Monday (August 23rd at 8:30am) TO WORK!!!!   Everyone welcome, KUCers, friends of KUC, friends of Grafton…..everyone!!!

KUC has an opportunity to support Camp Grafton in forest management. At a high level we are doing that by having Dirk and Diane, our wonderful RRFP’s (Retired Registered Forestry Professionals) give expertees on how to safely and effectively manage the forest.

That being said, there is some grunt work to be done. The forest floor is full of downed branches that are fuel for a potential fire and a hazard to the children. The plan is to do some clean up on Aug 23rd.

BRING WITH YOU – Gloves, Clothes with long sleeves, long pants and closed toed shoes. AND your beach wear for a dip in the lake after your hard work.

ARRIVE AT 8:30AM and leave when you need to.
