Help Those Displaced by Fire
Tk’emlúps te Secwe̓pemc has generously opened their hearts and space to welcome all evacuees to their community. You can help in one of two ways!
Volunteers are needed to help sort donations, prepare food, and undertake other important tasks. Go to the kitchen near Moccasin Square Gardens and tell them Bill Paul suggested you might help. KUC’s Reconciliation Exploration Circle encourages everyone to volunteer if you are able
Make a donation to Kamloops United Church (with Fire Relief in the notes). You can donate here: https://www.canadahelps.org/ en/dn/16702. Kamloops United Church will then purchase gift cards for food or fuel, to immediately help those in need.
