This week’s story is from Andrew, our summer tech student

Joanna had tasked me with a story related to dreaming, as this is our summer theme. Back in 2019, I decided to rent a car with some friends from Europe and drive all over the east coast of Canada. Since visiting PEI and New Brunswick during high school, I had longed to go back. The people, food, culture and gorgeous views were always captivating to me. One of my favourite places was this beach just off the Cabot Trail in the Cape Breton National Park, Nova Scotia, (see picture). Being able to sit with my feet in the water whilst finishing my lobster sandwich from a nearby food stand, was a truly cool experience. There is something about Atlantic Canada that will always stick with me. It may even be where I end up working further down in my career. Being able to come back and see even more was a dream come true for me.
