Nationally, June is Pride Month and Indigenous History month. Some of you may remember that I suggested that the Affirming ministry could put on a webinar in June that would intersect Pride Month and Indigenous History Month. I had thought to find a speaker or speakers that could teach about the uniquely Indigenous identity of Two Spirit.

Two-Spirit People: A Part of our Circle and our Teachings June 28, 2021. 7:00 p.m. ET /4:00 p.m.  PT This gathering is intended to provide attendees with some of the basic knowledge of and vocabulary for building relationships with and among Two-Spirit people. This includes pronouns and the importance of respecting people’s pronouns at work and everyday life. We will also learn about the difference between sex, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation. Find out more and register.
