“Affirming Language 101 for LGBTQ2S+ Communities”: May 12
On Wednesday, May 12, at 1 pm, we are very fortunate to have Danyel Haughton presenting: “Affirming Language 101 for LGBTQ2S+ Communities”.
Danyel will cover some of the language, vocabulary and usage with a focus on creating a safe space for all. The important conversations are enhanced when we better understand the language. Being Public, Intentional and Explicit as an Affirming community requires us to become more comfortable with the language: using it appropriately, understanding the impact, and knowing what to do if we inevitably make a mistake. This workshop is for everyone!
The webinar will be from 1 pm-2 pm with time for Q & A at the end. This session will not be recorded.
