THE CITIZEN’S GUIDE TO CLIMATE SUCCESS – Mark Jaccard
A professor of sustainable energy at Simon Fraser University. Jaccard has a PhD in economics from the University of Grenoble. He has helped many governments with climate-energy policy, including serving on the China council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
He says that for climate success, we need to understand the combined role of self- interested and wishful thinking biases that prevent us from acting effectively and strategically.

Klein was the founding British Columbia Director of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives for over two decades and has been immersed in climate change and inequality issues for his working life. He is currently an adjunct professor in urban studies at Simon Fraser University.
