Martha Ashbaugh (long-time member of KUC and of KUC’s Refugee Resettlement Committee) was on CBC radio’s DayBreak talking about Refugees And Friends Together (RAFT).

COVID has been difficult for people who are here in Canada and those looking to come here to safety.
In a fundraising effort RAFT teamed up with the Colombo Lodge for their pasta dinner. The dinner went very well and as a first time group doing this fundraiser, RAFT was very grateful to the folk of the Lodge who did all the cooking!

With the support of all the community members who came out and got a dinner they were able to generate a sizable donation. Thank you!
