Minister’s Message January 17, 2021
Each Tuesday morning at 11:00 am, a group of us from Kamloops, Calgary and Vancouver get together by zoom for a coffee party. Each week we discuss a different topic. This past Tuesday, we discussed the attack on the Capitol Building in Washington last week. We considered the implications of this in the future. We also looked as how we might get beyond the tensions which, while openly displayed south of the border, are also apparent in Canadian society. It was a great discussion.
If you would like to join us for any Tuesday gathering, here is the link: Coffee Party We would love to have you join us. If you are unsure about using Zoom, please contact the church office. Every week, during the coffee party, we have someone standing by to assist if you have technical difficulties.
Also, I would like to express a note of thanks to Carol Sparkes who has been moderating the chat during Sunday morning livestream on YouTube. Some people would prefer not to see the chat while they are watching the service. Note that you can turn it off. If you have difficulties doing this, please contact the office.
Blessings for the coming week,
Michael
