For more than 20 years the KUC Global and Community Action Ministry has organized the Advent Giving Tree Initiative to help the congregation give to the wider Kamloops community and around the world.

This year is different: because of COVID we will not have in-person worship where folks could write their message and hang an ornament on the Giving Tree. Instead we have included a beautiful ornament crafted by Jan Vint with the KUC Christmas Letter for everyone to hang on their own tree at home. If you are able, please give generously to the three organizations that were chosen this year.

The local one is the Kamloops Canadian Mental Health Association. The national choice is The 50+ Club, reaching out to isolated seniors through Our Place Society in Victoria (from the UC Gifts With Vision Catalogue, https://giftswithvision.ca/ ). The international organization is Plant an Olive Tree in Palestine (from the UC Gifts With Vision Catalogue).
