Good Afternoon Everyone,
I hope you are doing well.
Here is the eNews for November 8th, 2020.
In the eNews this week we have many new updates and things happening here. With a little game of guess who is in the picture. I would like to highlight, the White Poppy Campaign as we near Remembrance Day, and just as a reminder the office and Thrift Shop are closed this Wednesday. This year the City of Kamloops has not organized a gathering at Riverside Park. To read more click here if you have not already read or heard about this.
My personal note this week is, I am planning on trying out new recipes this fall/winter and have been getting tips from those who have come into the building. So thank you to anyone who has given me new things to try, and I would happily accept other ideas. In addition last weekend I spent some family time in Vernon and Lumby and was able to visit my favourite orchard before they closed for the season (I picked up a new cookbook as well as some ingredients, and produce). It then hit me, just how close we are getting to winter and how quick the year has gone by.
