Worship: Sunday, November 1 All Saints Sunday
This Sunday we are worshipping with a limited congregation in the church following all of the protocols laid out by BC Health. The eNews over the past few weeks has contained the details of how this will look. Should you not wish to join us in person, watch us on the livestream. All worship services and meetings will have the option of computer access.
To access the livestream of this week’s service, please go to Worship – Sunday November 1, 2020 and click on the service.
This Sunday, November 1, join us as we continue the worship series entitled, “Engage Your Faith!” Every Sunday until Advent, we will be considering how when we engage the world, our faith comes alive and we open up to new possibilities. We will consider our world and our neighbours through Jesus’ eyes. We will also see that we live in a world deeply loved by God.
This Sunday, we will be looking at Engaging our Action. This is All Saints Sunday so what doe it mean to be a Saint? How are we to engage the world with our actions? Are we called to be the saints of the world? The sermon is titled, “Good Morning Saints!”
All Saints is also a time when we reflect upon the lives of those who are no longer with us…lives that had a great impact upon our own. If you are worshipping with us in person, you are encouraged to bring a framed photo of a loved one and place it by the Christ candle. If you are worshipping from home, place a candle near a photo of a loved one. We will take time to remember them.
Also, this Sunday we will be celebrating communion. You can join us at home by having something ready to eat and something to drink to share in this part of the service.
We look forward to seeing you in person or by livestream!
