October 18 Worship: In-Person or On-line: “Gotta Serve Somebody”
This Sunday we are worshipping with a limited congregation in the church following all of the protocols laid out by BC Health. The e-News over the past few weeks has contained the details of how this will look. Should you not wish to join us in person, watch us on the livestream. All worship services and meetings will have the option of computer access.
To access the livestream of this week’s service, please go to Worship – Sunday October 18, 2020 and click on the service.
This Sunday, October 18 join us as we begin a new worship series entitled, “Engage Your Faith!” Every Sunday for the next six weeks, we will be considring how when we engage the world, our faith comes alive and we open up to new possibilities. We will consider our world and our neighbours through Jesus’ eyes. We will also see that we live in a world deeply loved by God.
This Sunday, we will be looking at Engaging our Values. The sermon title is “Gotta Serve Somebody” and considers Jesus saying “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and unto God what is God’s” especially in light of the upcoming BC Provincial election. How do our values speak to the way in which we cast our ballot?
Every Sunday this month, join us at Stuart Woods school yard following worship for a social time. Bring your chair, and something to drink. The school is located St. Paul and Third.
We look forward to seeing you in person or by livestream!
