A Note from the Sound Team
The Sound Team is one of the many participants in the overall effort to put worship online. The word for it is broadcast! (Isn’t that wild? What a world we find ourselves in!) There are a lot of ‘moving parts’ (equipment and people) involved with a broadcast — a far different situation than prior to adding that dimension! Thus, a ‘whole team’ of us are gaining familiarity with the equipment and how that equipment relates to each other. Everyone is learning new skills, prepared for something not going correctly, and perhaps most of all patient with themselves and others while we all find our way. Sometimes we have found that a totally different and seemingly unrelated piece has a button pushed or a dial twisted which has resulted in an unexpected or unanticipated change to what is going out on the air- waves. It has been and continues to be a positive (fun??) challenge for all of us as new situations present themselves (such as a “Zoom” Memorial last week and a quartette singing this coming Sunday). After Sunday morning we are reviewing how it all went and checking in with people watching. We hope you can see our progress. It truly “takes a community” to send out a broadcast!!
