This Sunday, September 20, the sermon title is ” Wilderness People in a Promise Land“. The Scripture passage from Exodus 16 continues the story of the Israelites wandering in the wilderness after they have crossed the Red Sea. The passage presents an interesting interplay between living in the wilderness and living in the promised land. The text asks the reader to consider where they would like to live.
This Sunday, for the second time, we will be live streaming at 10 am from the newly renovated church sanctuary. Thank you to everyone who is making these services possible. The learning curve to live steam from the church has been a steep one, but everyone rose to the occasion.
This Sunday, Tomas Bijok, Kamloops United Music Director will be leading us in music. He will be playing “Be Thou My Vision” as a violin solo accompanied on the piano by his father. George Johnson, chair of the Global Concerns committee will be speaking during the “All Ages” time about nuclear disarmament for World Peace Sunday.
