Minister’s Message
Around Kamloops United Church, this past week has been one of planning and preparation. Florence, as Administrative Manager of our church, has been busy with plans for how we will reopen the church for worship on Sunday October 4. You will see in this eNews the Ministry of Health Risk Assessment Tool as the next piece of information in our reopening plans. Tomas, our Music Director has been planning for the fall season for worship services and I am excited with the musicians he is lining up. Dan, the Spiritual Coordinator has put together a survey tool for you to use and to guide us in planning opportunities for spiritual growth. Joanna, our Office Coordinator has completed the networking of our membership data base so that those working in the office have contact information at their fingertips. Rick and Pit Stop fed the usual 200 meals. Council Circle, Discovery Circle, Global, Ministry and Personnel and the Worship Committee met to plan for the upcoming months. Even though the building might be closed to many activities, everyone is working hard to ensure that ministry at Kamloops United Church continues to meet the faith and spiritual needs of our congregation and reaches out to the wider community. A big thank you to all involved.
