COVID Safety Plan pt.3 Hug Station!
Please review our COVID-19 Safety Plan (Parts 1 & 2). This is the next level in the plan: Hug Station
There are only a few days left until we move back to worship in person. Last week we offered a short self survey to help you decide if you were going to return to worship in person or continue to connect online. Many of you will not be attending which is a decision we honour and respect. You are a leader in our community by modeling self care. Some of you will be returning which is a different kind of self care and leadership. Each of us needs to make our own, ongoing, decisions and we hope you feel empowered and supported to do so.
This week we offer a short video on our Hug Station. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it. The hope is that this offers us a way to have a conversation about physical distancing in a light way. I don’t know about you but I (Florence) find it almost impossible to resist a hug when offered. The Hug Station offers a fun way to connect while still holding boundaries. If something called a “Hug Station” does not appeal to you… well… Why are you still reading? Clearly this is not something you need… seriously… stop reading…. move on and read the next article… now… go…
Fine, here is a final thought. This is a scary time but we can move into the future together, carefully and with very clean hands!
