KUC’s Student Mask Initiative: Sewing Machines Needed

The Kamloops United Church Student Mask Initiative is growing.
 
We have been very lucky to have Levi and Kiara sewing masks and connecting with agencies and individuals that need them. We want to keep the energy going and have a legacy to this project. The plan is to create socially distanced volunteer opportunities for Students next year. Kiara and Levi tell us that students have to put in a certain number of volunteer hours. KUC could create opportunities for youth to learn a skill and give back to their community in a meaningful (and safe) way.
