Bread….
COBS Bread is back!  PIT Stop (KUC’s Community Hot Meal Program) is inviting the congregation to stop by on Sunday at 12:15 pm to pick up COBS Bread. There is a surplus, and we want to offer KUC folks the opportunity to come by if they like at 12:15 pm. The bread will be free or you can add something to the donation tin. Please remember to socially distance. Rick (PIT Stop Coordinator) will be on site to direct you and make sure all is safe.

…….and masks !
Florence created an opportunity called the KUC “Student Mask Initiative” for two summer students.
Our awesome summer students, Levi and Kiara, have been sewing up a storm making reusable masks. They created masks for our PIT Stop guests and they have also make some especially for KUC folk …. available to be picked up on Sundays along with the COBS bread give-away.

You are invited to take a mask for free (or by donation) if you need one. Each mask will be placed in a ziploc bag and quarantined beforehand to insure that they are free of any infection.  We hope you find them useful!

Everyday that Levi and Kiara sew they produce more masks as their skills grow. They want to get masks to as many people who need them as they can.
Please let us know if you are interested in volunteering to help sew more masks.
