The Annual Congregational Meeting will be May 31st.  It will be via Zoom, including by phone.

Did you know you can access Zoom by phone? It is a great way to participate. If you want to test it out I suggest joining one of Michael’s coffee times! (Please join us for Tuesday Coffee time at 11:00 AM by phone!)

Staff Update:

We have hired a new Office Coordinator Joanna Brown. Joanna comes to us from UBC Okanagan where she has just completed her Bachelor in Management. She will do a few training days in May and start with us at the beginning of June.

We send out very best wishes with Alan, Judy and Janna who will be leaving us at the end of May.

Thrift Shop Update:

We are not prepared to open our Thrift Shop at this time. We know that other businesses are opening but, Kamloops United is not willing to be a leader in this area. We will be very cautious and make small moves forward.

What we will do is accept donations of clothing and bags. Each donation will be quarantined for 14 days before it is sorted by KUC staff. We will only take donations by appointment as the building is still closed. (If you have things to donate please email me at admin@kamloopsunited.ca for an appointment.)
