Come be trained in the recognized Mental Health First Aid course of the Mental Health Commission of Canada, with the added bonus of taking the program with other people of faith and having space to connect this learning to our experience in Christian community! This training is especially beneficial for those offering pastoral care, people in front line work, reception, thrift store, food programs, family ministry and beyond.
This is a 2 day workshop being led by Dr. Julie Clayton who is a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor, a highly skilled counsellor, holds a master of Divinity and has years of experience as a congregational pastor.

*The Pacific Mountain Regional Council of The United Church of Canada created “LeaderShift“ to support church leaders in managing change, and leading faithfully through challenge. LeaderShift provides programs, coaching, and on-site support to clergy, congregational ministers, and church staff. Programs, on-site consulting and conferences are open to congregants and friends in Christ; Christian leaders are never made in isolation.
