KUC Administrator Florence requests donations of old t-shirts suitable for re-purposing as carry bags. Florence has been trying  for some time to put together a project which pairs students  with the sewing machines which were given to KUC a few years ago.  The purpose is to recycle fabrics from the Thrift Shop and to provide creative opportunities for students.  We currently have a three month work experience program through Thompson Rivers University which is engaging two students in sewing carry bags for the Thrift Shop. We need more t-shirts!
