Nov.6 Let’s talk about doing justice together!
Kamloops United Church ~Centre for Community and Spiritual Discovery invites you to:
Join Debbie Hubbard, Juanita Austin and *Beth Baskin
in conversation
on Wednesday, Nov. 6th from 10:30 to noon.
This shared conversation will explore justice work being done within and beyond the United Church at both national and local (Okanagan) level. Issues will include, but may also go beyond: Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Climate Justice, Indigenous Rights, being an Intercultural Church, and Palestine & Israel. We will provide information about initiatives and upcoming events, but especially welcome questions from those present.
Beth is General Council staff based in Toronto. Debbie and Juanita are local United Church volunteers working on many of these justice concerns.
