New Book in the Resource Centre:

“ACTIVIST ALPHABET”……by Donna Sinclair,  former journalist for the United Church Observer

Donna Sinclair has written a very easy-to-read book using the alphabet for her subtitles. For example,

“A” is for audacity… how she, a quiet introvert found herself on the front line of activism; “S”  is for Servant

Leadership…the role of  Faith Communities..” Our leadership is always to enable all people, including ourselves, to be

fully human .. and the earth whole; “W” is for wisdom…wisdom found in a context greater than ourselves.

I very quickly found that I had read most of the book and found it spiritual as well as supportive for anyone

…especially those in leadership and activism…or even like the butterfly effect small acts of activism and support of

those on the front line.  “ It is a primer, on how to stay strong enough to keep putting love into action over and over.

Trying to find hope.  Trying to see where God fits and lifts in the current chaos…”
