Indigenous Resurgence Art Exhibition Aug/10
The Indigenous Resurgence Exhibition focuses on showcasing local emerging and established indigenous artists in the Thompson-Nicola Region. Formerly titled “Artists for Reconciliation Interactive Art Show”, the event will be reminiscent of the previous year (also held at KUC).
The goal of the exhibition, both old and new, stays the same: a goal to connect artists with one another and create a support network where indigenous artists may collaborate and be in contact with each other.
This is a two-day interactive exhibition where the artists are part of the event, interacting with one another and the public.
Join us on Friday, August 9th for a fashion show from 6 – 8 pm. (More information will be available soon: ticket cost and where to get tickets.)
Join us on Saturday, August 10th from 11 am to 4 pm for beautiful artwork, socializing, and food-by-donation.
Indigenous art vendors will be available for you to purchase stunning engraved jewelry, original prints, t-shirts, and tote bags.
