On Sunday, June 9th the congregation of Kamloops United Church and their minister of  seventeen years, Rev. Bruce Comrie gave thanks and said farewell to each other. The service was one of grace, gratitude, respect and love. God was with us, around us and within us and the presence of  the Holy Spirit was  deeply and genuinely felt through the music, the prayers, the words and Recognition of the Symbols of Ministry: the bible, baptism, communion and membership and the key to the building. To have the very traditional rituals of marking the Completion of the Covenanted Ministry becomes a mutual witness to life’s journey in ministry together. God is grace, God is Love.
