He joins a long list of Peace Medal  recipients across Canada in over 27 years of YMCA-YWCA medals presented.  George gave an inspiring speech in which he spoke of his career as a social activist in peace and social justice, shared the real life stories behind some of his literary works and offered a Blue Dot petition for the audience to sign!  Congratulations George.
