A Walk for Sobriety marked Day 3 of National Addictions Awareness Week in Kamloops. Over thirty people gathered prepared with prayer before walking from Riverside Park to Kamloops United Church. A short candle light vigil with drums and song including a warrior song was followed by a light supper of soup, buns and cake. Information was offered by a street nurse about the use of a Naloxone kit. Day 4 will offer the “Photo Voice Exhibit” on Nov.29th from 6 – 8 pm at Kamloops United Church 4th and St. Paul St.
