The World Day of Prayer on March 2nd was prepared by a group of women in Suriname, and it was wonderful. They shared a powerpoint slide show which gave us a lovely view of their beautiful country. Five Kamloops churches participated in the service. Spirited drumming as we entered the sanctuary, bright costumes and many symbols including a great collection of turtles set the tone for this lovely worship service. Thank you to Janet and Sharon and all who participated in preparing and serving this service of prayer and the banquet of sweet treats which followed. “All God’s Creation is Very Good”.
