Listen to an audio recording via YouTube of the worship service on January 21st, 2018. The service was made special with beautiful images on the large screens (an owl, eagle, mother hen sheltering her chicks and a robin) and with inspiring music and reflection. As part of the Narrative Budget presented to the congregation this month, two stories were offered describing two of the “Caring” and “Sheltering” ministries of KUC. We were touched by hearing about the impact on lives of NA and also how the Blue Christmas service offers healing and comfort to those who have experienced loss. The most blessed moments in the service were shared in memory of Rev.Dr. Stuart Frayne a member of our congregation who was not with us for very many years but who was much loved. Stuart wrote us a letter which Rev. Bruce shared. It was a “verbal HUG” to us from Stuart. The tribute is at the 28 minute mark on the recording. The photographs of Stuart were taken when he received a prayer shawl in celebration of his 90th birthday in 2017.
