During Sunday’s worship service Rev. Bruce Comrie was welcomed back with the gift of a beautifully woven worship stole created by Mona Banek, one of the artists of the “Prayer Shawl” ministry.

To date the Prayer Shawl Ministry shawls have been knitted or crocheted and the group is approaching their 300th shawl. (They also created prayer squares, pocket sized, for the participants of the Truth & Reconciliation Hearing in Kamloops.)  This shawl is the first woven one for the Prayer Shawl Ministry
