The prayer shawl group usually meets at 1 pm on the 2nd Tuesday, but we are meeting early this time to accommodate both events!!   In recent months, some of us have been knitting Comfort Muffs for folks living with dementia or Alzheimers.  We are trying to get care facility staff and volunteers to start knitting or crocheting for their facility, but, in the meantime, we are trying to supply them with some muffs!  These Comfort Muffs have also been beneficial for people living with Autism;  folks who are ‘fidgity’  find them calming.  Marg has a simple pattern for the muffs that was developed by the Prayer Shawl/Comfort Muff group at First-Met United in Victoria; she can email it to you.  Email her at msmargknit@gmail.com for the pattern or any questions.
