20 Year Anniversary of PIT Stop… Proclaimed!!!!

Celebrating our 20 year anniversary of PIT Stop, Bruce Comrie and Rick Windjack made a brief presentation to the Kamloops City Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 2 making an official proclamation that the week of June 5- 11, 2017 is “PIT Stop Community Outreach Program Week”‘ in the City of Kamloops.

The P.I.T. Stop Volunteer Celebration on Sunday, June 11th:
Celebrations with special speakers and presentations happen at KUC after our coffee time.
This is followed by a public, grilled luncheon, provided and prepared by the Kamloops United Steel Workers local 7619 for all the folks who have volunteered at PIT Stop over its twenty years and for all who just wish to join the celebration of 20 years of PIT Stop. If you know folks who volunteered quite a while ago, make sure they know they are invited. The lunch will be held outside, in the parking lot across the street (“kitty corner”), at noon.
Our PIT Stop guests will still receive their regular dinner at 3:30 as always.
