Santa & Elves visit PIT Stop guests 2016 (photos)
PIT Stop Coordinator Rick W expresses gratitude: “I’m pleased to tell all of you that with an immense amount of support from this wonderful community, our 2016 PIT Stop Christmas Dinner was a fabulous success.
We served 325 meals – a new record for PIT Stop – that was accomplished by an incredible Kamloops Rotary Daybreak Team.”
“As well, Santa handed out gift bags to each of our guests and that was possible only because of the energetic and enthusiastic students from Aberdeen Elementary School’s “Me to We” program, who gathered a considerable amount of items for the bags and also packed them all and helped Santa with their distribution.”
“There was live music thanks to David and Jeremy and the church Hall and Sanctuary were filled with happy and grateful guests.”
“Many, many of you helped us in so many ways. My sincere thanks to all of you that donated items, donated cash, helped shop, helped pack, helped cook, and generally campaigned on behalf of PIT Stop. I also appreciate the terrific job CFJC and Adam Donnelly did on covering our busy weekend. Thank you everyone!”
