UCW (United Church Women) and other women, please join us Tuesday, October 4th at 2 pm for our monthly meeting and an interesting presentation by Marnie and Derm Strong on their visit to Grasslands National Park in Saskatchewan and to the American Prairie Reserve at Sun Prairie, Montana this past June.

At the American Prairie Reserve they pulled fences, staples and hundred year old posts to help the restoration of the natural grasslands and to bring back the bison, wolf and other species of wildlife.  This was the mission of both the National Park and the Prairie Reserve.  Marnie and Derm will share pictures of their experience, as they were part of a small group of volunteers who worked and helped to make the prairie safer.    Come join us ladies for conversation and tea!
