PIT Stop (which stands for People In Transition)
aims to provide nourishment and outreach to people in our community.
This hot meal program serves a nutritious dinner at Kamloops United Church
every Sunday afternoon, year round and is mainly a volunteer driven program.
The dinners are provided without charge.
Photos below give a glimpse of the volunteers and community engagement. Thank you all!!

Preparation with smiles! (June 2015)
Wonderful group leaders.
So many gracious volunteers.
Good food and conversation.
Preparing desserts with a smile.
Enjoying each other’s company while tasking.
Sometimes the tables and chairs extend into the sanctuary.
On a “big day” both the sanctuary and hall are readied.
Guests are welcome to Cobs baked goods.
A new volunteer. (Aug. 2015) helps stock the fridges.
