Last week I was paid a visit by a group of ladies from KUC who brought a beautiful gift basket of goodies which included home baking, beautiful homemade placemats and jam along with an array of goodies all tied up with ribbons and balloons! In the basket I also found cards wishing the best for my retirement and birthday as well as three additional envelopes. One contained a gift of a set of tickets for the complete upcoming season at Western Canada Theatre! In the second envelope I found an overwhelmingly generous financial gift and in the third pictures and a script from a long ago production of Romeo and Juliet performed at one of the annual choir shows. Ah, the memories.
Thank you to the entire congregation for your generous gifts and for the opportunity to work for you for the past eighteen years. I will always carry the fondest memories of the KUC congregation. I will always remember the fun and pleasure it was to put on the variety of theatre productions we undertook and the pleasure of seeing you on stage!
Thank you to you brave souls! Thank you everyone! Sharon Huuha
