Historic displays of the life and times of KUC included a history of the building with artifacts and photos, recognition of the CGIT program (Canadian Girls In Training), of the “Folk of Note” (KUC’s choir who traveled far and wide sharing their gifts of music) and included a digital projection.
There was also a “One Day Art Show” of varied art pieces made by members and adherents of KUC and friends of KUC. The show was curated by Marie and Heather.
In the new Hall, atop the labyrinth, was a “cafe” coordinated by the PIT Stop coordinator, Rick. (A generous gift!)
The photos below begin in the sanctuary with the “history” displays, then move to the wonderful “One Day Art Show”, then move to the Thrift Store which opened on Saturday to participate in this celebration. (They are regularly open Monday to Friday from 10 until 3.)
