Paul Bramadat – Religion after Religion?
Paul is Director of the Centre for Studies in Religion and Society at the University of Victoria. His articles have appeared in many leading academic journals. His books include The Church on the World’s Turf, which examines the ways religious sub-cultures can thrive in largely secular environments; Religion and Ethnicity in Canada as well as Christianity and Ethnicity in Canada, both co-edited with David Seljak; International Migration and the Governance of Religious Diversity, co-edited with German sociologist Matthias Koenig; Spirituality and Hospice Palliative Care, co-edited with Kelli Stajduhar and Harold Coward; Religious Radicalization in Canada and Beyond, co-edited with Lorne Dawson; and Vaccine Nation: Religious and Cultural Reasons for Vaccine Hesitancy in Canada, co-edited with Maryse Guay and Julie Bettinger. His interests revolve around changing relationships – and tensions – between religion and Canadian society.
